Maths is not a side subject for me. I hold a First Class degree in Mathematics with Economics and an MSc in Computational Finance, alongside a PGCE with QTS and NCETM mastery training. What happens in the £25 diagnostic?+
For 30 minutes, I use targeted questions to find where the gaps actually start. You then get an honest view of the priorities and what I recommend next. The £25 comes off your first full lesson.
Do I have to pay before checking a time?+
No. If you want to check availability first, message me on WhatsApp. When you are ready, the £25 diagnostic fee is paid securely through Stripe.
Where do you teach?+
Online tuition is available worldwide. In-person tuition is available across Havering and surrounding areas, subject to availability and an agreed location.
How much are lessons?+
KS3 is £45 online or £55 in person. GCSE is £50 online or £60 in person. A-level and Further Maths are £60 online or £70 in person. Prepaid blocks of 6 receive 5% off and blocks of 12 receive 10% off.
Which exam boards do you cover?+
Edexcel, AQA, OCR and MEI. I am an Edexcel examiner, and mark schemes and examiner reports sit at the centre of how I teach exam technique across boards.
How often are lessons and how do parents know progress?+
Most students work weekly. The diagnostic helps decide the right focus, and I give honest progress feedback so you know what is improving, what still needs work and whether the plan should change.
Do you teach A-level Further Maths?+
Yes. I teach Pure, Statistics and Mechanics at A-level, as well as Further Maths.
Are you DBS checked?+
Yes. I hold an enhanced DBS check, PGCE with QTS and currently serve as a Maths Curriculum Lead.
